Hi Stacey, That wasn't much of a birthday present! I haven't got RA, I have OA, which is different but lots of people on here have RA , and are young Mums, too, like you. I'm sure the hospital will give you information and help to sort out the medication that you need to well. I do know that there are lots of things they can give you to help and the sooner you are diagnosed the better.
Welcome to the site and I hope you find some help here.

Hi Stacey, sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time. There are some great people on this forum and I've had so much help from them. Am sure you will find the same.

hi stacey and welcome,
i'm pretty new too. i'm paula and mum of two little girls, 5 and 18 months (very hard at times as you will know).
there is fantastic support on here - it's so good not to feel alone.
look forward to chatting soon, take care and keep your chin up hun xxx0 -
Hi Stacey and welcom to the site.
I'm only 35 and was diagnosed with oestoarthritis last August.
Personally, i found letting it all sink in the hardest. Why at such a young age? Why is there no cure? What does the future hold?
Once you've had chance to take it all in (and the people here will give you all the help you want) it does become easier to deal with. If you're independent like i am, it's not easy letting people help you but it will come, with time.
Looking forward to getting to know you

Hi Stacey

Hi Stacy
I felt like that for a good while too
I felt evry range of emotion from anger to tears - denial to dispair. This is so normal.
When you see you rheumy they will have more ideas for treatment options for you.
In the meantime talk to us lot
That's what I did until things got settled down - they kept me sane honestly - I never cried so much in my life (thanks Elna ). I thought I wouldn't survive it and my life was over. But look! I'm here now and ok - life may well be different, but it's really good
Read and read - the stuff on this site and talk and ask advice on the little things - we might know. It all helps you to feel back in control of your life again.
I hope to see you posting again
Love

Hi Stacy,
A welcome from me as well. Its a good site this and they are a nice lot as well.
I think we all have times when we feel like you do but it does get easier I promise you. For me the more I understand it the less scary it got except now and then but I think that’s normal really. I hope your appointment goes well on the 25th and that things will get easier for you. Take care and it honestly does get easier. Cris0 -
