Hi
The weather what ever it isn't is so beautiful......
A really vivid sun set over the front field today
http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/Employers/DSC00122.jpg
A very atmospheric sky (with slight hint of snow falling) over the front field with the morning sun behind us. That's Slipper Boy being bouncy and Hops and Gimpy wishing he wasn't

Mr stink and Hops, yes he does run on a rope so I can grab the end before he does the amazing disappearing harrier trick!
http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/Employers/DSC00079.jpg
Another sun set and its the skies i wish I could paint but I can't.....

I hope you all stay safe and warm. Luv Cris x

A quick vid of snow, the hawthorn both in snow and in a blizzard for his last night and the dogs who loved playing. Music bit duff but it complies with copyright

Oh! Thank you for posting these pictures. Makes me remember when I lived in the country rather than in concrete city (London). Keep them coming. Good for the soul.

Hi Sue,
I did see it and somewhere I had a link and had a good look at them. It would be good wouldn't it? I have been stupid and am now freezing but it was so much fun Sad Cornish person just not used to having 'real' snow saying ((( ))) xx
Hi Nina,
I am trying to understand how to put more up....... x
Hi Jan,
(((((((( )))))))) for your help both done and to come   xx
Hi Jaspercat,
This place is very open and got big skies and you know it throws some very atmospheric ones but I should love to be able to paint.... Hope you and Malcolm are ok and keeping warm? Luv Cris x
Hi Anne,
Oh the dogs loved it! I did yesterday let the sheep have a quick look at it and they were fascinated but today they were just outside the snow field. This high and in between the big moors and the small ones but my sister didn't have fun today, she's further north and got 15-18" so some of Cornwall got well clobbered. Hope your ok? Cris x
Hi Annie,
Its very cold with a easterly running and cus I am stupid I gt very cold today so ........ Sometimes pay back is worth it eh?! Luv Cris xx
Hi Lynn,
I did go and run with them........ I just suddenly stopped and thought a) I was told to take it easy b) how old am I?! Then I thought I would try and be my age an do some pics...... Hope your all warm enough and (((((( )))))) Cris xx
Hi Steph,
I will do you some more cus I had to live up country in a city for a bit and it was so bad, so hard and I felt caged up. Cris x
Hi Debs,
He sends his love to you and a casual enquiry abut the availability of some dinner xx0 -
Hi Arna,
I really am sorry you are in a big built up place. London has a bit of charm though to me. Partly cus its got such wonderfully big buildings and also I just become awestruck by the speed of life...... I think mine is just above tortoise pace! On a good day ((( ))) Cris x
Hi Wonky,
Oh he has had so much fun today! He really has enjoyed hm self and Mr. Stink as well. He wars a coat cus he is a harrier and very short haired and he is getting older. He is so bad at running off though...... He tried it while I was taking pics but at least when he went to the nativity play he was in his best coat I will never get over him doing that one.....
Hope your ok today? Luv ((( ))) and slurps Cris xx0 -
Well, will you just look at my Haz, and his mates. But where`s his red quilted coat? He`s ate the bu**er hasn`t he?
Cris, as always, these pics give me a lovely, warm glow.........AngeXX0 -
HI Cris
I'm ok ish thanks - better for an early night I think.
will pop in on here for longer tomorrow as going to have a slow day I think.0 -
Hi Wonky,
I hope you get a good night. I am really paying for today........ I have to say under this morning's snow is yesterdays and that is now solid ice so if this lot does the same we wont be playing in it tomorrow......
The odd thing you go 7 miles down the A30 and the snow has gone, all green fields and sun..... Nature is really incredible eh? I know you have had so much snow and ice and I hope it all soon gets easier to walk and drive on. ((( ))) and sleep well Cris xx0 -
Hi Chris
How gorgeous the snow looks in your photos. Not so keen on the stuff outside my door though! Herts got loads today about a foot fell where we are, so spent all day 'running' around feeding and watering the animals and the poor little hungry birds.
You are very clever to do all your photo computer stuff!
Your lights are very pretty too. Are you planning to take them down or leave them??
Hope you are ok
Love Gillxx0 -
Hi Ange,
I sorry I didn't see you. He had a red coat and it was quilted..... he enialartid it and obviously wanted his own..... He has a waxed jacket one now but he doesn't often have to ware it.... they last longer that way! Gimpy has a blue one the same as mr stinks green one not cus he gets cold but to stop him from getting wet as he takes hours to dry. Hops bless her she is getting on a bit, 15 now, and as a 3 legged woffety she shouldn't get stiff...... Still she still does ok eh?
You take care ad you can see he will dig your car out very happily.... ((((( ))))) Cris xx
Hi Gill,
h isn't that the downside? All water is frozen, they are in so need so much more work and bale caring isn't my strong point..... especially being chased by calves who are now waist high.... I seem to have lost a lot of small birds, they haven't come today and I do hope they are all ok. The sheep had lapwings and they were certainly hungry and cold but here I ended up feeding gulls, rooks and even the magpies but also a few blackbirds and thrushes. I think the foxes will be hungry too so will find them a bowl of chappie. Hope your ok and it soon gets better for you there. He was such a lovely tree this year and I have switched him off but not negotiated the snow and ice t get the light off him. He is old and so big and has albut 2" thorns so he does take a bit of negotiating..... Maybe he would be lit up again? (((( )))) love Cris xxx0 -
Hi Cris, my mate is always welcome to a dinner Just send him up.
You know the kiddies make snow angels, well the past 2 days snowy has made snowy angels He's laid out there in the snow & the heat from him has made snowy angels.
Now i should have took pictures of that but my digital cameras on the blink.
debs0 -
Hi Debs,
Oh that's the down side f digi eh? I got mine working at last..... I understand mine and it just happens to be a decent camera. I have borrowed so many different ones it nice to have mine back
Haz was making something but I couldn't work it out......... He wouldn't tell me what it was either I did go via the beach but it wasn't there... the beach was but the snow had gone. Now I got my digi back I really must go down west and get some pics of home! Stay warm and watch that ice flower. xx0 -
Hi Cris

Makes the place look really quiet and special!
I imagine with your lots it's anything BIUT!!!
I have some of Daisy venturing out for the first times but don't have the skill to put links on here and all that malarky....

Love
Toni xx0 -
Hi Toni,
I really am worried about face book  I wouldn't know how to use it photobucket is almost beyond me ( side glance at Jan x) but I think the animals reaction is funny...... I let the chickens out this morning to do their sheets....... I opened the door and they all stock piled at the doorway but wouldn't come out. They don't really show much expression but they did this morn, put their heads to one side and I think I saw amazement In the end the bulk in the stock pile pushed the duck out and as soon as she hit the ground she started to run around in a duck scared mode for a min. Now thy are out scratching in it but half f them were in the way at sheet change time cus they will not come out at all xx0 -
Hi Cris.

joan xx0 -
Hi Joan,
They are bits of some of my fields and sort of my secret world Its all so beautiful out there, pain in the neck but beautiful. Hope you and Sue are ok and keeping warm> Luv Cris xx0 -
Hi Jan,
Haz loves big dogs, one of his best mates is a wolfie
Seriously now you ever see a sheep on its back turn it over cus they get stuck and well they will die in around 12 hours or so.......
Hey can you shear sheepsis I got a horror to do xx0 -
Hi Jan,
Only just seen this, sorry. She was lucky then cus normally once they are on their back they are so stuck and can't get back over. Normally happens with heavily pregnant ewes as well
Hey mine are absolute treasures and nothing to be scared of at all..... They are no different to dogs really and just as dogs do they have collars and are so sweet natured....... Side glance at Stampy but for a bourbon she is your best mate xx0 -
luv Stamps xx0
