Don't worry about cutting it close to the deadline for returning the form. When I went to the CAB to help fill in mine it was due back the next day, the person who helped fill it in rang the department and explained that it might be late, they said OK and marked my file. I was awarded high level mobility and low level care.
But don't forget to fill it in as your worst day not how your feeling at the moment , unless of course you are at your worst!!.
Good luck with your claim I found the CAB a great help.

Hi, CAB were great helping me too.
If your running out of time get them to fill it in for you anyway & send it recorded delivery.
I really wouldnt recommend you filling it in yourself. I got turned down 1st time & lost my appeal. Then got low rate care the 2nd time, but with CABs help i got my High rate mobility, Low rate care for an indefinite period.
Dont worry if youve already started to fill it in you can download a new form.
debs & good luck with it all.0 -

we will keep our fingers and toes crossed for you! If you've sent loads of papers with it that's a good thing and supports what you have told them,'') iris x
