    Hi Caprica,

A welcome from me as well. Is there anyway you can get the appointment;hurried' up at all? Its a very different system in Scotland and people say better than down here but thats our time for consultants but if you can get your doctor to push it they can see you sooner....... Sometimes you have to make a nuisance of your self and its so wrong to have to but maybe you could? Anyway they are a good lot here and though I am sorry you have had to find them its nice to meet you. Take care Cris x

Hey Chris! Nice to meet you too. Everyone's so lovely and welcoming here!! I reckon they're just fobbing me off a bit because my symptoms are pretty mild so far, my GP keeps going on about how he's hoping it's a 'one off inflammation'. Hmm. Yeah right, for 6 weeks... I'm starting to think he's a bit clueless. At least he's referred me! I'm definitely going to make a nuisance of myself, you're right. It's my health and no one else is responsible for it.

    Hi Caprica,

We will come up and help you make them bring it forward. I suffer from 'useless doctors syndrome' but I hope you can make yours a little bit more on your side. Its better to be seen when its active..... Hey if you have swelling take some pics of it cus s*ds law rule 56 is the swellings go before your appointment  Cris x

Just another question - I have numbness in my first finger, been like that for 2 months now, is this a "normal" sympton in ra or any other type of arthritus? x

    Hi Karen,

It can be depending on where the inflamation is I think. Forgive me I think its another thing that hopefully will get sorted after you have been seen. Thing to put on your list eh? ((( ))) Cris x

Not felt that well over the last few days, I've noticed that come the afternoon i start to feel a little nausous and my wrists and muscles start to ache, is this quite common? or just me!
