The sky is drab, and the weather is freezing so I thought I would list all the things that are good in my life.

In no particular order :)

1. My Husband
2. Our Children (all of them including my 2 wonderful stepdaughters)
3. Our Grandsons
4. My dogs
5. Watching the snow fall from inside the house by the fire!!!
6. All my new friends on here, you are all so very generous with your time for others.
7. My car
8. The rest of our family
9. Listening to my grandsons laugh - even if it is at me!
10. My Anti TNF treatment - it really works :):):):)
11. My Harry Potter books and films - got the lot
12. My log burning fire
13. My central heating
14. Warm Spring Sunshine
15. The colour of Autumn Leaves
16. My Caravan

Now I feel all warm inside, try it, it works

Linda

    Hi there Linda,
Such a positive outlook on life you have. Your husband is a very lucky man to have you around.
I wished I had someone like that.
The things I love are my children and grandchildren. I never get to see them as they are all in Australia but think about them every day. That makes me happy.
Being on here makes me happy too. It's the best thing I've done for a long time. Problem is I am living under rather difficult conditions.
Being able to get onto this forum as much as I would like is proving harder than I thought.due to pressures from other half.
I'm glad you have found a way to keep from being depressed.
I am going to make a list too and see what I can come up with.
    God Bless

oooh, i love playing 'eye spy' with ellie and now sarah is trying to play to, but being very nearly 3 she doesn't really know her letters! so this morning when she was having breakfast our game went like this -

she said "eye spy with my um, um eye, something with s"
    so i said "sweets?"
she said "no, not right mummy!"
    i said "sarah?"
she said "thats right mummy, well done, now your turn!"

when it was her turn again

she said eye spy with my um, um eye, something with coffee!"

    i said "is it coffee?"
very excitedly she said "yes clever mummy!"

so sweet! so i like that to!

    Sue,

When Jassie was little like your Sarah (she's 6 now) her games of I Spy always went something like this:

Jassie: I spy wiv lickle eye, sumfing beginning wiv... banana!
Me: Is it chair? (or anything that was right in front of her)
    Jassie: Yes! Your turn, mamma!

I miss them being at that stage, SO cute and so much fun

    Hi Linda,

This one wasn't as easy when I started to make a list........ It got really long, guess I am lucky eh? Anyway an abridged version....

My Sheep (very predictable, sorry  )
    The Employers,
Cornwall (bet none of you knew that  )
    The Atlantic beaches and surf,
    Sunsets,
    Kids,
Green fields and open pastures grazed by cows and sheep,
    Big deep blue skies,
The view as you drop down towards Penzance as the Mount appears in from of you on a sunny day,
    Mowzal lights,
Sitting on a rock down west watching the sun go down over the Atlantic,,
    My Friends, old and new,
    The Forum,
    Music,
    Horses,
    Lions,
    Cats and dogs,
    Most Wildlife,
    Cows,
    Old Buildings,
    Moors and hills,

My list really is long, these are the main ones, but most of all today I love the fact the snow can't stick :D:D:D:D:lol::lol::lol: Cris x

    Steph,

Just remember we are always here and come in when you can x

i love that! sarah is the same, well sort off!
i think without children to keep us sane (?) and make us life would be much harder!
any other ideas of games nina to play with little ones?

she tries hide and seek but it goes like this-
you count mummy, i hide. off she runs whilst i count loudly.
then i say i wonder where sarah can be?
at which point she jumps out of her hiding place and say's "i here mummy, you found me!"

    What have I started :)

You have all reminded me of other things I love that I missed off my list,

I will try to answer all of you but if I miss somebody I am sorry,

    Steph,

I also have a hubby that dosen't always understand why I am on this site. I have dealt with this by keeping my evenings for him. Unless he's out then I switch on.
But it really is not a problem as we all dip in and out when we can.
I try to stay positive not always easy.

Cris, I was always told to becareful around people who loved sheep :D:D:D but i'll make an exception this time

To all of you with children,

I played eye-spy with my girls when they were small and it went like this

I-spy with my little eye something beginning with T
answer always came back - Handbag

We still play this today and the answer is still handbag and yes she now has a large collection of handbags (she is now 25) :D

Kids are LOTS of fun, I honestly don't know what I ever did with my spare time before mine came along. We used to play hide and seek but all I had to do with Simie when she was a toddler was say "I wonder where Simie is?" and she'd jump out from under the dining table (where she always hid) and say "here I am!" My hubby still plays hide and seek with them and always wins - at 5 foot 11 you'd think he would run out of places to hide, wouldn't you?!

We also used to have dance competitions a lot when they were younger and play board games - snakes and ladders, etc. Other than that, painting and colouring or playing in the garden. All the stuff we liked to do best was free.

Now we're MUCH more sophisticated and play on the Wii a lot together and if you have DSs, the Scrabble game you can get for that is brilliant. They also like to play on their own a lot. They're growing up :-( But Jassie is still good for a lengthly game of Polly Pockets. We love them.
