I found this idea in a paper. Anti Inflammatory Recipe for Arthur. Pineapple and Ginger Juice.
Blend three quarters of a fresh pineapple with 2 pieces of ginger 2 celery stalks and half a glass of apple juice.
Medicinal properties confirmedas pineaapple which contains a powerful enzyme called bromelain that helps reduce inflammation and also softens swollen tissue, ginger is an anti inflammmatory and celery contains a powerful natural painkiller. PS i have not tried it as i do not have a blender or a whisk????

Hi Chrisov
Yes that could well work - I know pineapple for one has anti-inflamatory properties.
When i can gert to tesco i might just try that - unlike the other 'odd' ideas you sometimes get here this one would be good for you anyway - would go towards your 5 a day. Bet you cabn freeze it to when you need it.
Hope you are doing ok?

I've actually been having the pineapple and ginger anyway, hadn't thought about adding celery........haven't got a blender, either, but use fresh pineapple juice and liquid ginger..........don't know if it does any good, but it tastes delicious!

hi this sounds like a a good idea.
about freezing, maybe the properties will not last the freezing/defrosting processes? should take that into consideration.
most fruits and veg when made into juice like this should be drunk right away/asap.
but will taste great

Hi Chrisov
Thanks for this....yes ginger certainly does have anti inflammatory properties....and like everyone says it sounds nice even if it didnt do any good LOL
Dont know about freezing but it would be ok in the fridge for a while.
Must try it......would never have thought of the celery LOL
