Hi Everyone

Haven't posted for a while but have been keeping an eye on boards.

Is anyone taking Lodine, have just been precribed by Rheumy, was on MTX but couldn't bear fatigue so have just started Plaquenil and the Lodine is supposed to help in the interim...so any tips on taking of side effects would be welcome.

Thanks to you all

Barbara

Sorry have just posted this on working matters forum by mistake xx

I used to swear by lodine until I got a blood disorder that meant I couldn't take it. Lodine was my life saver for 2 years and allowed me to keep working during that time. I took one every night (as they made me relax ready for bed) and after about 2 weeks the benefit from them was even better. My mum takes them now and again but doesn't really get on with them. I think that because I took it every day (for years) that was why I had such a good response from them. They are also a lot better for your stomach than ibuprofen as they are more specific drugs and of course are slow release so you don't get a sudden high dose to cause any problems.
    I hope this helps.
