I think I remember someone else posting about this a while ago, but I can't trace anything.........anyway, I went for a walk earlier roughly a mile, snow permitting do the same walk each week or 10 days. Since I've been back first my legs felt as if they were shaking and now it has spread to all of me..........anyone else had this? If I hold my hands out in front of me, I can see they I have a tremor, but I'm certain it can't be visible in any other way, have asked OH.

Very peculiar feeling and no idea what it's all about, can anyone help?

Annie

Thanks Val, going to the surgery Monday for bloods, will mention it to the nurse.........it is beginning to wear off now, although my legs are still going.......maybe I just walked too far? Not something I have ever had before.

could it be low blood sugar?

Just wondered because I sometimes got this when working, usually when we had been really busy, and eating something sweet usually helped.

may not be this but just thought I'd mention it.

I don't think so, Wonky. I am diabetic and I had checked my sugars today, they were OK before I went out. I did no more than I usually do on a Saturday.............I've had to learn to pace myself and thought I was doing well, but you know what it's like when something else jumps out at you..........I will rest up till Monday.
Thanks for the thought, though, I would probably have suggested that one to someone else with the same query.

This felt as if it was something affecting the muscles, very strange.

It could be the MXT not mixing with the other drugs you are taking. Now you have upped the dose, a reaction?

Other that that, I would say, maybe a nerve thing going on.

You need to get it checked Annie, as we could all be wrong.

Hi, Did you check your blood sugars when you came in feeling unwell? As Wonky says, low blood sugars can cause odd feelings and if you haven't been out for a few days because of the weather, your body may have lost a bit of toning, making usual exercise seem much harder. Forgive me, you probably know this already, but, having worked with people who are sometimes diabetic, but also unable to cope with it themselves, the staff could often tell what the levels would be before taking them, by the way the person is and what they look like. Its hard to discribe!
But I would say to any diabetic, if you feel odd in any way - check your blood sugar levels first, if they are normal then thats something not to worry about.

    Love Sue

    Hi Annie,

I don't know if its the same thing but I do that as well. Its if I am not feeling so good and push things either by walking too fast, too much, a sale (on a bad day) or have a 'fight' with one of the employers. For me resting up for an hour normally cures it unless its a different kind of shaking I get. Its probably worth asking about it, I just haven't bothered. The pushing it too much one is very like shivering from being really cold, I don't know if thats the sort you getting? Cris xx

It sounds like it could be an adrenalin rush. I get them sometimes too and they normally subside after a while and leave me feeling a bit flat. Mention it to your GP to see what they say. good luck, rita
