Wow what a suprise i had this morning..
as many of u no i battled and filled the form in on my own... Was woken by them ringing today just need a bit more info cause i filled one thing in wrong!!
She then went on to say she dident need to write to my doc as i already had a medical for DSS. she pulled the reults out.
Well asked me a few more questions and then said there is an award here i will forward it to the decision makers today!! and u will here in 2 weeks.
Now im confussed if there is an award why send it to decision makers? and does this mean i have been awarded some thing??

Alli,
I also got a phonecall asing for more info after filling in the form. Since then I have been refused, been for one of their medicals and refused again. I am in the process of an appeal.
Maybe you should call and seek clarification?

My advise for anyone applying for DLA is fight, fight, appeal and do whatever you need, like letters from doctors, O.T's etc. I fought and fought, appeal and went in front of a panel. They awarded me low rate mobility and low rate care. I kept fighting and they have now awarded me high rate mobility. It is worth fighting. The way that I see it, it is not just about the money or help with finances but is more about RECOGNITION, this illnesses are present, they are debilitating and should be recognised. Keep fighting.
Hope you receive DLA
