Well, well..............following on to a couple of my postings on the Chit Chat zone, having discovered I have a very low potassium level, one of the things that potassium regulates is arthritis pain
I have been told to eat more bananas and tomatoes, potatoes and celery if possible, also watercress and I am being given a supplement.

As I am diabetic and I have high BP my intake of this has to be medically managed, so don't rush out and get some without asking first!

I will take these with interest...........who knows, I might have found the answer!

I hope you have found the answer  I eat tons of bananas and jacket and roast potatoes but suffering today more than usual  In the summer months, I eat loads of homegrown tomatoes too, and I am sure they don't agree with my "arthritis" but I am not giving them up!

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

I love tomatoes, too, Elna and have always been told that they are bad for the joints - presumably because they are considered acidic. From the info I read today, they must then be working both ways - making arthritis both better and worse!

I really don't think I can in fact put up my intake of either tomatoes or bananas, if I do, I will start looking like a cross between the two!
