hi everyone

not having very good time at moment - having a flare up I think as in process of moving house and think I have done too much!!!! But am so unhappy as I am not able to do what I want to do, feel complelty left out of the move and now becoming horrid to live with!!! was not well on Sun or Mon, when everyone was moving boxes and bags of bits, but I couldn't do anything!!!! This made me feel usless and grumpy then yesterday felt ill again, so really sorry for myself!! OH sorted some bits out that I was going to do - over the phone - and that has made me feel even more usless!!! I know he only done it as I was poorly and he thought he was helping me, but this has made me feel worst!!! Feel that I just want to cry and stay in bed!!!! Which will not help!!! I am on co-codomaol 3 times a day and sometimes needing extra at night, but this is upsetting me as dont want to come reliant on them??!! Try to go for as long as poss without taking some but maybe this is not helping? Trouble is, because I am down, everything is an effort and makes me feel sad!!

louise

what other meds r u on it seems they r not working i cut back on my pain meds the other day and lived to regret it need to take full dose even though i do not want to. so if u can take more take them till move over u need something to help u. work out a list of jobs u can do even on a bad day and tell oh why u want to do these jobs that then u will not feel u leaving things to others and that u know u will be able to do these things with out making youe self ill. you could write lables for boxes if hands not to bad also where boxes going in new house which can wait which need doing straight away so be nice to your self work out what u can do and what i would be better for others to do explain to them and good luck with the move .

    Oh Louise :(
You poor thing! bet you feel not part of it :(
Now listen - if you are ill at the moment you should take your pills. Pain is a nasty very nasty thing and you need to keep AHEAD of it. If that makes sense??
If it catches you up you can struggle to regain control over it.
If you can reduce your pain and feel a bit better maybe you will be able to be involved more in the move?

After all you want to feel part of it - you will be living there
    You take care
    Love

Hi, I'm not surpriised you feel so down and are having trouble sleeping, moving house is very stressful, I know and that won't help your arthritis either. Hopefully, you'll settle into your new home quickly and then things will feel better for you.

I have amatriptlyne at night, its not a sleepin tablet, but it helps with nerve pain and also has the side effect of making you feel sleepy! Hope all goes well for you. Love Sue xxx

Louise, I know exactly how you feel. We are in the process of a grand clear out before we move out in March/April and on top of everything else I have got bronchitis and can only sit here helplessly watching OH doing it all wrong! Stressful isn't in it!

    Hi

The day is nearly over thank goodness - will try and be positive tomorrow!!! Thanks for the replies, this always helps when there is others there who know and understand what it feels like!! I will try and be better with pain killers, as I know it will make things better, but just dont want to be reliant on them!!! I am on Thyroxin tablets as have underactive thyroid, stomach tablets as have some form of ulcer, take folic acid 5 days a week, anti-sickness tables 3 times a day for 2 days before 15ml injec of methx and 2 days after, as well as having SR 100/200ml tramadol to take a night!! Dont I rattle!!! I find the tramadol helps the pain, but I wake up for about 3 hours during the night and just lie in a daze??!!! so try not to take these unless necessary or if not working next day!! only work 3 days a week so that has helped!!! I try not to get upset over it all, but some times that 'black dog' comes and takes over and I cant shake it off!!! Am feeling better now, so hopfully things will sort themselves out??!!!!

Thanks again - really appreciate the replies.

    Hi Louise,

Sorry I am late seeing this one  Sometimes its just hard to keep everything in proportion BUT your not useless. I see your your feeling bit better today and maybe you could take some time out from it all and maybe let your body have a chance to fight the flare?

Its not fair your feeling unwell so much, have you seen your Rumo recently? I wonder if a different drug combination will help you? Just take each day as it comes and sort roll with it is sometimes the only way to get through it. I really hope tomorrow will be better for you and that your flare soon goes away. ((( ))) Cris x
