Hi all, well, I finally got to speak to the seceretary, and she informed me that there was no chance of an earlier appt than the one I have on 5th March. She advised me to go to A&E if necessary, and to call the nurses helpline and leave a msg. I left a msg of Tuesday, still no reply. I have my bloods done tomorrow morning, so will attempt to see a nurse then (specialist nurse only available by appt as works at another hosptial too)
I cant believe that we are expected to suffer in pain, and no one can do anything.
Since July its been "wait and see" well, enoough waitng and seeing!! the mtx at 15mg doesnt work, and the tramadol and paracetemol does nothing.
I cant understand why no other options have been looked at. I know they are waiting on results re overlap syndrome (MCTD/llupus) but there must be something else they can do. I have a GP appt in the afternoon too, but last time she wouldnt prescribe anything until I had been seen at clinic. I am even contemplating trying to get a private consultation, as I cant wait until March to get this sorted out, joints are painful and swollen all the time. Sorry just had to get it down, feeling really angry and fed up with it all
