Phew sons operation to have toy removed is all done and dusted.It was only a small operation but he was so traumatised last time he had gas and air(and I was traumatised seeing his frightened expression.I think he thought he was going to die)and this is what was upsetting me so much.

    At the start of 2010 I thought thank G. there are no operations in the foreseeable future!

    I had to go out so early this morning and I "dashed" upstairs as soon as I got in and wrote on your first posting asking how it had all gone.

    that is great news .....and perhaps it was best they did it by doing an op or they might not have found the second piece eh?

    have a rest now and relax ....... the worry is over and you will soon be able to give him a great big hug.

    Hi all and thanx for your messages which were lovely to read. :D
    He is okay now but a little hyper.As you know I didnt get much sleep before the op so I am feeling exhausted.By all accounts he was very good at the pre op and thanked all the docs and nurses without prompting when he woke up.
    They did give me the toys back!its in a little jar.
