Hi
I have been given SR tramadol - 100/200mls for night time but have only taken 100mls up to now. But I have had a least 2 nasty episodes of migraine the next day - today being the worst!! sick 3 times during day - when I moved so had to spend the day in bed!! not good at all - didnt get up til 6pm but still feel ropey!! I have had migraines before, but never like this!! My daughter, who is a nurse, thought it was a bug as I was so poorly!!!
Has anyone else suffered like this?? Seems strange that it only happens after taking Tramadol???

I have been on these since September 09, in combination with paracetamol and have found that nothing is working and I do sometimes get heads. But I think as a result of not having enough sleep due to chronic pain. Amyltriptalin is uless and just makes IBS worse. We both need to see a GP. :roll:0

sorry nothing is not working - that is worst that anything! Will get app with doctors and see what they say!! do find the co-codomol works during the day and have tried tens machine which can help. Just some times find that night time can be too long for co-codomol so could do with something!!!
I do feel so much better today - thank goodness - as was poorly
Mon and Tues last week so bit fed up with it all!!! Sun shining today so maybe this is helping???
Take care all

Hi
My doctor gave me Tramadol as codeine didnt really work. I took one and never again after the nightmares I had. I was frightened to go back to sleep and had to get up at four in the morning.0 -
Hi, When I first started tramadol my GP warned me that they might make me sick and if they did I could hav some tablets to stop that. I did feel a bit queasy for the first week or two, but not too bad and I soon got used to them. Maybe they just don't suit you, can you go and discuss this with your GP? It sounds really horrible to have those symptoms. Love Sue0

and I thought it was just me!! I have the worst dreams after taking tramadol, its awful especially since I have had to come off my anti inflam due to stomach problems so no other pain relief a tthe minute. AT least I know its not just me that gets the nightmares I was starting to feel like I was just hopeless with all meds and my body awkward. lol xsuzster wrote:wendyx wrote:Hi

Im the same Theresa, Im really awkward I had to come off the Brufen I had a stomach ulcer and get pain with it, Codeine didnt really work and Im frightened to take Tramadol again because of the dreams, Ive heard youre not supposed to take it with Prozac as well so Im not taking anything at the minute. The doctor said Tramadol was the last thing he could give me so I dont know whats going to happen next.0
