    Hello

I have the mtx injections, which are said to be absorbed much better than tablets and have less side effects. I have had only little nausea at first but alas is not working for me. But they can be very effective.

Can't stand injecting myself, you will be shown how to do it by a nurse.

    Take care

I have found the MTX injections are a great improvement on the tablets as far as side effects are concerned :D IT also worked much better for me as an injection than as a tablet.

IF you have problems injecting at all then they can arrange for someone to do it for you. I go to my GP surgery and the nurse does it for me.

Great to hear Jo that you got help from the nurse!

I've been self injecting Mtx every week for over a year now with no problems. Injecting yourself takes a bit of getting used to but as other peeps said your local surgery will help if need be so don't let that put you off!
Mtx seems to be better tolerated by injection than in tablet form.

    Good luck with it! Irisx
