Oh Lynn, you've got me with you every step of the way..........I was just telling someone that life for me at the moment is like an old-fashioned ghost train.........it's a very bumpy ride and every now and then something else jumps out at me!

Your poor Dad - I think they are so stubborn because they're frightened and too proud to show it.

I tend to cope with things by 'doing' and at the moment I can't, physically can't, do what I want.........so frustrating.

Hope you get good news soon, please do let us know.

Dear Lynn

The beginning of your post made me feel envious of your efficiency, but then I read about your Dad, and my heart suddenly skipped a beat.

I have been in your shoes, as my mother had a stroke. The waiting for news, and the results of tests is very stressful, so I feel for you.

I do hope your Dad will recover as he has done before. It sounds as though he has a strong fighting spirit, so hopefully he will pull through.

On here there is never, well you have had enough.

It goes on for as long as you need us, so don't go quiet and beat yourself up. We all need someone at times and on here it does not come with a timetable.
