Honeygar - cure or cod?

I've said hello in the 'hello' forum, and as per my little story there i'm currently making strides to have my joint problem diagnosed. But i'm also curious about some natural remedies i've heard of that may help.
I've read more than once now about this 'Honeygar' - i think it's basically cider vinegar and honey. Sir Ranulph Fiennes reckoned it sorted his arthritis out and there was a woman in the paper only a few weeks ago who reckoned it was nothing short of a miracle cure.
I'm a skeptic in general of alternate medicine, but i thought this would be a good place to ask if anyone has tried cider vinegar and honey and found it helped?

Hi John,
Is it meant to be drunk? If it is then is a shame cos I don't drink
Has honey? Doesn't totally surprise me - I know it's not along the same line but my 2nd aunt has RA or OA not sure as she lives back home in Chile. Anyway, she had treatment of bee stings and she is doing brilliantly. I also saw one of those documentary on freaky accidents etc and a woman in the US was stung by bees all over, rushed to hospital thankfully recovered and later was able to walk and had far more mobility, again not sure whether it was RA or OA but she had one or the other. Wish I could have it but I had an anaphylactic shock years ago and don't dare risk it lol.
A friend of my father (chilean rheumatologist) told my father that I should eat at least one banana a day as it helps the arthritis. Started doing it and because they got a few brown spots on it, my girls chucked them away - kids!
As I have refused to take methotrexate, leflunomide, I definitely want to try alternative medicines as Im not happy about toxic drugs going into my body. I guess if alternative medicine don't work I will have to give in soon as I am in severe pain and constant flare up.

Hi Both
John welcome from me
I reckon - if it's not toxic and doesn't interfere with your meds - there's no harm at all in trying it
(think it's only a little of each Eve and not alcoholic...? - Good to see you)0 -
