Meh. Had a really strange night, didn't do anything out of the ordinary yesterday evening, but as I was going to sleep my feet started getting pins and needles really badly. It went to my hands a bit as well. I couldnt sleep with the discomfort and tried walking around to make it go away but it didnt. I eventually maybe got a couple of hours sleep about 4-6am and then had to go to work.

It's a bit better just now but im still feeling really weird. Still feeling the pins and needles slightly and I don't know if im just really tired or if I have a bit of a fever. I don't know if I should call my GP to make an appointment or wait it out for another day or two.

I'm guessing it has something to do with my joints, although there's no extra swelling or pain today from what it has been lately. I have my rheumy app in 2 and a half weeks, i was feeling ok until last night. :( Do you think I should call the GP?

    Hiya
Sorry you are feeling quite crappy. If you're worried then I'd give the gp a call.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

    Hi Caprica,

Not sure you should be going to work though. I think as Jen said it might be a good idea to give the gp a call and then rest up and go gentle with your self for a day and hopefully it will soon quieten down for you. Take care Cris x

    Hello,
I think the others are right, rest and talk to your GP. It won't do you any harm.

    Hi
I hope you're feeling a better today. Getting comfy at night especially when you have arthur in the joints can be difficult. You may need to speak to your GP. I take amytriptiline at nights which helps to relax my muscles. I've also made improvements to bedding: memory foam pillows; memory foam mattress topper etc.
Some people find feather and down mattress toppers good too.

I had to give up work 2 years ago as the OA in both my knees made working tough.

Do you have OA or RA?

I have nothing as of yet..lol
Some sort of inflammatory monster, it seems. We'll see, once I see the rheumatologist.

Bah.. there is still some pins and needles in my feet. Gonna ring GP tomorrow. I hope I can sleep tonight.

As far as work is concerned, I kinda don't want to start taking sick days yet. I don't know how quickly/how much worse this will get and I'm in line for a promotion. But probably gonna have to kiss that goodbye, with this horrible thing happening. I guess I'm just not ready to accept that I might have to take it easy now considering I only just started my career last year.

Bah. Sorry. Bad mood. Thanks for the advice I will see what the GP has to say about pins and needles. Probably not much..
