it's off to work I go.

Passed all the security and credit checks so I start on the 15th. Only one week of freedom left.

Will need to try and get my work head on and start thinking technically again.

Just hope I can cope with full time?!

    I don't know if happy is the word. I haven't had any income for a year as I am self employed and my OH was working (lost job in Dec). So have been living off savings.

    Trish, I am a Software Tester/Test Analyst. This job is for one of the big (huge) American Investment Banks.

    I have been trying to arrange all hospital & doc appointments for first thing and my physio has been great and said he would come in at 8:30am to see me. I was scheduled for a capsule endoscopy in 2 weeks time but I have cancelled.

    Jan, when do you start?

    Well, you could start with our system to begin with. I need loads of debugging again. Or am I too small for you.
    Congrats anyway. I hope you don't wear yourself out again. Got to be careful. Bet you can't wait to get a salary coming in again.

    wow! so exciting and so scary both at the same time!

    I am really rooting for you and hoping that you enjoy being back at work.

    Do remember what others have said about pacing yourself ... particularly at first .... and give yourself an easy time at home for a few weeks if you can. I know your hubby will help a lot, so that will be a great help.

    Just popping in here to add my best wishes to those above. Am sure you are a little nervous but do hope all goes well and that you are soon settled back into routine with it all. They wanted you on your terms remember, so we know you can do it.

    Now my work is my art. that keeps me busy, plus the house.
