Statins and arthritis

:?: Has anyone ever been on statins medication for high cholesterol and has it affected them with the arthritis .... I had to take them and found that they made all of my muscles very bad and they are weaker now than before ... I have fibromyalgia and I was having terrible myagia with them ... I have stopped taking them but my muscles and joins are still bad ... there was a blood test they do to check muscle damage and they have reference ranges for this ... I can't remember exactly but mine when from something like 60 to 170 in short space of time, is that high does anyone know ? .. and they say this is ok .... has anyone every had experience of this ... and does anyone know about the reference ranges for statins and muscle damage I think the test is called a CK test .. don't know what it stands for though ....
