I am new to this, 29 years old as well. Have it in my ankle and toe. I am sitting here at work having a whole load of weird sensations going on. What the heck is going on with my joints? It feels like a tingling, pins and needles feeling. Please can anyone shed some light onto this?

    Hi sturge
I can't help you but just wanted to offer some sympathy while you wait for someone who can...
    In the joints you say?
Does it come and go or is it constant?
    that sounds odd to me...
    Could it be anerve?
has it been going on a while?

not so much painful, just dam annoying. is it the disease actually attacking the joints, or is that a bit far fetched? It is sort of on the outside of the joint, hard to tell really. Once I rub it, it goes, then returns seconds later.

If it is just OA, then the tingling etc sensations are probably trapped nerves. With my gps agreement, I started a series of Chiropractitioner sessions and OA will only respond to these sessions, no other types of arthritis will. OA is just wear and tear. I would suggest that you see your GP, talk over this type of alternative approach and see what he says, or your consultant.

My consultant was very positive about it also. Unfortunately you cannot get chiro on the national health. Only oestopath, which is strange, because oestopath is too vicious for OA.

Good luck. I have found it very beneficial for myself, but do ask your gp first, especially if you have had Xrays which you can show a chiropractor.

    good luck

Hi, If it doesn't go soon, I'd have a word with the doctor, it could be a nerve, they can give very funny sensations and sometimes they are not near the place that you feel them! Love Sue
