anyone taking penicillamine

hi everyone
just found this forum (didn't know any excisted
i have had ra for 13 yrs ( now 49)had a lot of different medication over the yrs
i have just been taken off methatrexate ( had problems
they now want me to take penicillamine ( got bad deteriation of my joints( hands & feet) has anyone been on this or is on this medication can't seem to find anything out about it
have had a few flare up lately & my ra won't settle down ( would love some feed bk

    Cant help with the drugs but just wanted to say welcome to the forum an well they are a good lot here. i hope someone will be bl to help you with the drugs soon. Take care Cris

    i#m really struggling at the mo just wish it would settle down but i know it likes to test me now & again lol

    Hi Sue,

    Sorry your struggling there, sending you a ((( ))) and a hope that it will soon settle. I got oa and pa and both are in competition just now :wink::lol::lol:

    You know we all struggle now and then but it will get under control, or so my Rumo tells me :lol: You hang in there and I hope for a better tomorrow for you. Cris x

    i know hun (just felt a bit sorry for myself after seing ra nurse today) not much help) not had a flare up this bad in a while but all due (they say ) to operations i had in july last yr so been struggling since then i know it will right it self wants they sort out new med once again (bk on old meloxicam for now but will have to choose new one nxt month when i see ra nurse again

    Hi Sue,

    Its not fair flower and you moan away cus that can help. When do you next see your Rumo? Hey I used to think when you have the modifiers it all quieten down :roll: Its not that simple but it might be if they just find a combination of drugs that work and bring it under control eh? You go easy, hang in there and don't let today's appointment up set you. Luv and a hope tomorrow will see an improvement. (((( )))) Cris x
