Hi everyone,
Sorry I know I keep asking questions   , but I was wondering if there is and alternative anti-inflammatory to ibuprofen as I am diabetic and its looks like the two of them don't go together.

Hi Malc
Would you be able to take Etoricoxib 60 mg (Arcoxia)? It says to take one or two daily and I take the maximum dosage.

BUT I also have Diabetic Neuropathy, and am taking Lyrica and Amytriptline (not too good at spelling so think maybe the combination helps....Susan

Hi, Their are lots of drugs in the anti inflammatory family, but they all tend to work in the same way. I can't take them either, as I've had a perforated ulcer. Why not ask your GP or the Chemist, I don't know the reason you can't take them and they know all about drugs and can give you advice.
I hope that you find something to help, love Sue0 -
Hi everyone,
Thanks to you all for your relies.
I don't have Diabetic Neuropathy and my GP has only ever given me packs of Co-codamol 30/500 and they don't hit the pain as don't take them all the time as I read some where not too as the effect of taking them wears off.
I am going to ask my GP or chemist about what I can take with my Diabetes later when I collect my prescription tonight.
Next week I am off to hospital to see a Consultant and hopefully can get answers to my questions and maybe an MRI scan of my neck and shoulders done
What would be gone is to have a tablet to let me sleep all night and wake me up at 6.30am
take care and thanks again its good to talk
