Apeal for ESA Aknowledgement

Hi,
I've just had my letter from ATOS today acknowledging my apeal, so at least thats not been lost! My physio wants to add a report, she could'nt believe I'd been turned down. I have a Rhemmy appointment too for 23rd Feb so thats not too long to wait at all. I have to collect my reports and stuff together now. To be honest I'm not looking forward to it at all! I'm not going to hold out too much hope either.
You'll never guess what stupid thing I did this morning. I woke up at 6am when Jerry got up, I had a really bad pain in by back, so took the morning tramadol. Then slept for a while, got up and did some housework and tidying up, nothing very much. Went upstairs for my shower and took my morning meds. After a while, I started to feel strange, light headed and out of it. I went over the things I'd done and came up with taking 2 long acting tramadol with 3 hours apart!!! Shocked and frightened, I rang my doctors surgery. One of the doctors rang back and said I'd be all right, just tired, and not to drive or do anything much. Honestly, I felt so stupid, I'm OK now but, still feeling a bit odd.
The funny thing was that I walked around looking for the label for the to check the dose I'd taken,to tell the doc and I felt so odd, couldn't see properly and was off balance, then I realised that I'd still got my reading glasses on! Took them off and felt much better!
I blame all the stress! If this is full of mistakes and doesn't make sense, you'll know why!

Hi Sue
Glad you are appealing too. Well done for that
I love your 'overdose' story
What are you like :!:
My reading glasses make me out of my tree too. Hav a bad habit ofwearing them on the end of my nose and then walking downstairs..... You know what that's like I'll bet
Well you take care and i hope you feel 'normal' again soon
Love

Sue,
If you have read my thread you will know I am appealing a DLA decision. Get a hold of your ATOS report, it makes interesting reading, in my case anyway.
Good luck for the appeal, we can support each other along the way.
