HELLO
Well, you hav'nt got rid of me yet! Despite the extra tramadol, the doc was right and apart from feeling high, then out of it and then a strange sort of sleepiness, which was like being half asleep and has awake, (although I think it would have been more asleep, if the cat hadn't decided to keep me company, by jumping on the bed like a trampoline, chewing my shoulder and patting me if I ignored her for too long! She is a lovely little bundle of mischief and I find myself saying sorry, you can't eat my hand and feeling guilt!!!,

I must admit that I felt like a real idiot; fancy doing such a daft thing! I don't recommend it!

    Hi Woodbon
Glad you're ok. I made the mistake of taking my night time medication twice and it made me really ill. I went to Boots and bought an organiser which has slots for 4 slots during the day : breakfast; lunch; evening;night. It's in a handy blue case - I think it cost about £10 but you can get others a lot cheaper. The slots can be made larger smaller which is handy.

I've also heard that you can get the chemists to organise your drugs for you. Not sure what it was called. The OT mentioned it when he last visited. He caught me into the laborious task of organising my meds for the week ahead.

Oh, Sue, this did make me laugh - I did it once with co-codamol and actually made myself think I had something else landing on me for about a day.....it really made me ill and I have tried to be doubly careful since then. Trouble is, my head isn't always on the right way round............

    Hi,
I wonder what the doctor thought, I've worked with him in the dementia unit, as he used to be our GP! He is a very laid back sort of person, with quite a dry sense of humour, its probably all around the practice, how I'd not only taken an accidental overdose, but paniced and thought I might have done something dreadful!
    Love Sue

    Hello Sharmaine.
If you get the chemist to organise it, it may cost you a lot more. Depends on your age. If you are in receipt of a careplan maybe you would get it done for nothing. You would have to ask the chemist.

I fillmy casett up fortnightly. I have renamed my morn, lunchtime, teactime and evening. Because I take my tablets in the morning and evening. obviously I can put mon to Sun on the lunchtime and teatime sestions thereby making it into a two week supply.
