Couple of questions

Hi all,

Did anyone sign a Consent Form before they were given Metotrexate tablets or jobs. Did everyone who is on Humira sign a Consent Form.

Did you have a chest X-Ray before starting Metho?

Be glad of any input

    I signed a form for both mtx injections and enbrel for healthcare at home, to agree to have meds and that I had undertaken the training given. Yes I also had a chest x- ray before starting mtx.

    Why do u ask?

    Ho dolittle,

    I had various blood tests and an x ray before starting on Humira. I also signed a consent form for the Humira but not for the Mtx injections.
    Are you worried about it? Irisx

    I signed a form about MTX for the delivery company to say that I agreed to them delivering them, and that I had had the training needed, but I didn't sign any forms when I was getting the injections from the hospital. :?

    I know they always check the chest before the Biological treatments (cos they told me that a couple of weeks ago) and I seem to remember having a chest xray before the MTX started but that was long ago and I slept since then so not sure :wink::lol::lol::lol:

    Thanks for your replies which are useful.
    The questions were asked by the kind soul helping me over my consultation issue. I wasn't aware that a consent form was to be completed for metho, and that's what needs to be established. Am not in the type to go suing people but, because I didn't have an x-ray at the outset either, no comparisonis availalbe to compare with what's going on now.

    I did sign a consent form for humira ... must ask for a copy for my file, 'cos I didn't have the time to read it properly - hadn't got my specs. Must say am feeling better for Humira. Just hoping I can continue with it. Time will tell.

    OOoooo! I'd be very woried about you if you hadn't slept for that length of time :lol::lol::lol:
