Does anyone else get this?

I have to walk with a stick for support. If I don't, my joints ache a lot more. However, if I try to walk a bit faster or put a spring in my step, then my ankles suddenly lock up or my toes do and I nearly go sprawling? Is this normal?
ask a silly question, why not

Perhaps it is a question of weightbearing. Mine have to hold a lot up.

    Hi Del.

I find that I can't wear trainers, they are the worst for my feet. You would think the opposite wouldn't you.

Luckily we have thePadders Factory shop nearby so I get my shoes from there and then take them to Podiatrists to have the special insoles made and fitted inside. Difficult with sandles. I thought that I would buy some warm slippers. That was a waste of money too.
My knees are the most tuneful, but you can hear the crackles in my toes and ankles whilst moving, when I get up from sitting and trying to start walking. My knees feel like they are goingoff in two different directions and the noise from them makes me feel a bit nauseous.
Oh the Joys of growing old.
