Just wanted to let you know that i can now do the leg raise. Elna you were so right you said it would just happen and it has. I was starting to feel a right wimp (but it is the most painful one to do imo). Ready for the start of physio now. hope everyone else is well.

Yippee! Such good news Dee! I knew you would master it. You must feel very proud of yourself. I most certainly was, after having trouble with that same exercise after my first op.
I am feeling on top of the world today and your good news and Do's too about her morale boosting morning has all helped
Wishing you well with your physio exercises and recovery Do keep us informed, we like to know these things
Lots of love

I've just read your other post about your surgery. Yey well done I understand how frustrating that exercise can be. I've had two synovectomies on my left knee. Each time I could do a straight leg lift before the surgery. Post surgery it was like someone had switched my leg off...lol. I could do the bending exercises and lift the leg when it was bent slightly but could I heck do a straight leg lift. Both times I had to wait until my stitches/staples came out. Then I would do them in the bath. Once I'd done them in the bath - it was like the switch had been turned back on again...lol.
Keep us posted with your progress. xxx0 -
