    HI Colin,

sorry can't help you myself but a few peeps responded to my earlier questions about the biologicals.

I seem to thin Snowball might have taken rituximab ....... not certain though.

I'll keep looking and see who I can find who replied - if I can find the other thread.

    Dear Colin

I bumped up a couple of old threads for you from this forum but I could not find too much about it on here.

I then googled rituximab forum and the first link has quite a few peeps talking about their experiences. Perhaps this may help you.

    Thinking of you,

    Love

    Hiya Colin
I had my first dose of Rituximab in Dec 2008 and it has been the best treatment I have been on. It brought my inflammatory markers down to a level where they were barely readable and it has worked so well.
I know different people have different results on each treatment but for me it has been amazing and I would recommend anyone gives it a shot if they get the opportunity.
I am due to have a second dose in next month as the RA is starting to come back but I am looking forward to it as I know it works so well.
It took about 4 months until I started to notice a difference but after 2 months of starting the treatment my blood results were showing an improvement so that showed it was working.

I really hope that you get the best out of it and it works for you as well as it did for me :)

    Thank you Webmanager

Thanks Janie Your drug enbrel is anti TFN not biological Rituximab is a biological drug that can be used on people that anti TNF fails

Elna thanks for that, i have done a fair bit of reading up on rituximab i was keen to talk with someone who had tried it.

    Cheers
