Chrisov, so sorry that you have been struck down again.

From what I know, you have done everything in your power to beat this horrible illness.

I wondered, as you feel that it may be genetic, if perhaps you could ask to be referred to a psychologist. Counselling can only do so much, then it`s time for the "big guns" to take over.

Keep fighting as best you can, although I know how truly difficult that is.........Ange.

    Hi,
I'm sorry your feeling so down. I feel a bit that way myself at the moment. I'm getting sick and tired of the merry-go-round of the appeal I've got to make for ESA. I'm feeling that it just isn't worth it and who cares if I have to cut back on spending a bit, at least I've got a husband in full time work, who has told me that I can do what feels right, but I know he wants me to appeal, just to get a chance to say what he thinks of the system and the effects it has on peoples lives.

Anyway, that won't cheer you up to hear all my woes and problems! Just to say, I really DO know how hard it is to keep going sometimes and how appealing it would be to just stay in bed with the duvet over your head and let the world b@g@@r off! :?

    Take care of yourself.
    Love Sue

    Hi Chrisov

I'm sure you know depression can be cyclic - you are on a down part now, but things WILL go back up again - hopefully soon.

Mind you I don't beleive myself if I say that when i am very very down. It feels as though nothing will ever be right again and I cannot count my blessings - even though I know I have lots

All I can say is I do understand and wish you well very sson

    Love

    Toni xx

    Hello Chrisov,
Sorry that you're feeling so low - you've done so much for others. Hopefully, as the others say the pills will kick in and you'll begin to pick up quickly. Sending you a bit of TLC and some (((hugs))). Take care and do keep in touch. I've been wondering where you were - have missed you.

    HI Chrisov,

so sorry to hear that you are finding life tough at the moment.

I think Ange's suggestion is a good one - from personal experience counselling can really help ... but there does come a time when more help is needed. I'm goign that route at the moment .... it's not easy or comfortable, but I think it is worth it. Maybe it would help you see yourself more positively too.

    love and hugs

    Hello Chrisov,
I've only just logged in and read your post..so sorry you are feeling so low and that your sister too is having such a hard time!

.....but please take heart... it is positive that you have been able to post today and hopefully is a sign that you are beginning to find your way through your present difficulties. You have lots of friends here who care about you and want to support you as much as they can.x

One of my sons has cyclical depression and I know how he has struggled with it ....but he has found that understanding the pattern of his illness and the triggers that influence his mood helps him to deal with it. He also had CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) which helped him greatly; perhaps you could consider this?

hope tomorrow is a better day...keep posting. will be thinking about you and sending positive vibes. Irisx

    Hi

I don't think we have met, but I know you have many friends on here who care about you. Just wanted to say don't be sorry for posting how you feel. It is OK to share the bad stuff, off load, rant whatever you want to call it.
I can't and wouldn't want to give advise, but whatever tomorrow brings, just keep in touch with us and know that people are thinking of you.
