House of Commons Commission representative Nick Harvey revealed last week that Microsoft's unloved Vista operating system will be installed on parliamentary PCs.

The Parliamentary Information and Communication Technology Service is ready to migrate Members from the Windows XP operating system to an upgraded system from the time of the next general election. A Vista build has been successfully tested. Win7 may be an option????

Too busy filling in expenses forms to notice how out of date they are.

    Vista successful? An oxymoron surely?

I like XP, but looking at Dementia's my beloved, Windows 7 I am quite impressed, so its windows 7 and touch screen for me later this year.
A successful test, which probably means they finally got a copy to startup.

I like XP as well, but Win7 won't update XP without a clean install, only Vista will update directly. Shame on MS.
