Hi Del
That's very near to where I live. It looks good, so I hope you will have a great child-free time. I hate to remind you that it is half-term though :!:

Good idea about the pipe insulation (Must remember to put the rubber tip over the steel tip on the stick)
That's the trouble with being a teacher. You are stuck with taking school holidays, so a) all the prices go up, and b) you have to put up with kids everywhere.
I taught for many years in the area where you are going, and I have to warn you that they breed em tough around there, so you might need more than a stick :!: :shock:0 -
You enjoy yourself Del - and take a spare stick in case you break one!

Come all together sing along!!!!.
Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.
Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time. :!:0 -

We had a lovely snowfall fall on the Thursday evening and went for a walk along a disused railway track at 9pm. It was pristine and absolutely lovely, so quiet you could here the legs snapping on the frozen birds.
Went for a walk on Friday morning and went way to far as we were enjoying the gorgeous snow covered scenery. Nearly called mountain rescue as my feet and knees were about to give out completely.
More later...
will look out for it sound like was good trip wish had been there
PS Have you lot nothing better to do than fill the forum with posts, 3 days away and it'll take me as long to catch up.val0
