What can you claim for on the DLA, can you claim for item at home that you need for doing your everyday jobs such as seating ie stool for sitting when at the sink hand rails etc??. is it means tested??, I'm working still at the mo but have had to purchase a few things to make my life easier at home is it even worth claiming if I am??. :?:

Hi Mell,
DLA as you know is not means tested hun so you can claim whether working or not.
Grab rails, stools and other equipment is provided by an OT. If your rheumy can refer you brilliant but if not then you can call your local council as some have them and if not they can put you to the right place.
Good luck and do claim hun.
