Hi Every one,

I am looking for a good cream to rub into my neck and shoulders at bed time to try to let me sleep through the night.

It seems I now have an impingment in my shoulder as well as OA in my neck. Just had a MRI scan and waiting to go back to see what can be done but it looks like an OP is inevitable.

It would be better if I could just go to the chemist to buy the cream rather than visit my GP as they are always busy.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received, not sure if being a diabetic stops me using certain ones :?:

many thanks

Malc

    Hi Malc,
I am diabetic and I have found the best cream for me is Transvasin which cost me £1.58 for regular sized tube. I find the heat certainly helps me.As i have arthritis in 10 joints............ Susan

    deep heat is quite cheap

and boots do their own brand , which is cheaper still

    transvasin is also cheap

its the effect of massage AND the heat of the cream that helps

ice is also a good pain reducer

Tried a cream I bought last night. I really shouldn't have expected miracles, BUT I did sleep through till 3am before I had pain in my shoulder but what was good is I didn't get up out of bed.
Going to try Transvasin if I can find out where its sold :?:

    Take care everyone
