Hello,
Im 14 years old and really suffering with my RA at the moment, its got to the point that i can hardly walk. I have had Hip Injections and that did not give me any pain relief at all. Me and along with my consultont and surgon have discussed about having my left hip replaced and im ok with this because the pain is that bad, so im just wondering if anyone has got any infomation or have have had their hip replaced ?.

Hi kyrunjake,
Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time with the pain at the moment.
There are a lot of people that post on these boards that have had a hip replacement and most of them would tell you that they were glad they did. But hip replacements aren't done that often on people of your age, so I would try posting this question on the young people's forum as you're more likely to get a bigger response there.
best wishes
