Oh Julie they are horrible things! I get them so bad every time it goes cold..... You been putting your feet into a fire, on radiator or too hot a bottle when they cold? Hey you got Raynaud's?
Snow fire is quite good and if they are not ruptured stuff like deep heat works quite well as its a circulatory booster. ((( ))) Cris xx0 -

Hello Julie
I use to suffer dreadfully with chillblains. I can't spell it either, I don't think.
Long time ago, there was something called zambuk. I don't know if you can still get it. Also, now I use something called Snowfire I get it from my chemist. Little round tube.
I think you will find it very good.

HiJulie
I use to have them in my teens and twenties but then they went away. Now, in their place I have PsA.
Hope you can get some. If not let me know and we can make some arrangements send me a PM.0 -

Hi Julie,
Oh Joy's suggestion of Zambuk is good..... just I haven't seen that for years now...... Maybe I shall go on a quest It was better as I remember. The wheat bag might be why you got them..... Mind mine just come up as soon as it gets cold and its got nothing to do with putting my feet against hot things when they are cold  xx0 -

I have this also my hands go bright red and when you touch them they go white they feel very cold then they are burning, My Rhumey has given me a blood test form to have tests for Raynulds( I have an Aunt who has this also).
It is extremely painful I have found that when it is cold I wear fingersless gloves most of the time and when I go out I wear these and normal gloves over them.
I have found that prevention is better than cure I try very hard not to let my hands/fingers get cold as I know that I will be in extreme pain for hours.
Maybe you should ask your Dr to do blood tests.

Hi Julie
Oh i have suffered really badly with chillblains over the years.
I have always worked with horses and used to get the chillblains in really cold and wet weather.
The only thing that worked very well for me was Snowfire.
Apparently my mum used to use it and is amazed you can still get today.0 -
Hi Julie, Venita and Heather,
I have a circulatory thing along the lines of Raynaud's and have an Iloprost drip every 4 months. For raynaud's they do it once or twice a year and well I promise you its quite effective on me so well its an idea f your having too much trouble. Cris x
Hey Heather did you also get them on the top of your legs form horses? Horrible tings chilblains eh0
