Hi - thought the ones who were read my last post named as above might be interested in the latest news!!
I took the advice and made an appointment with the doctors - luckly I saw one doctor who knows me well!! He feels it is my thyroid that is causing the problems, he says that some people need to be on higher level of T4???? and that when I last had tests done on it, there had been a dramatic drop in reading, even if it did show normal levels??!!! So I am due for blood tests on Wed, so thyroid will be done as well!!! Please keep fingers crossed for me - I do hope they put up my meds!!!!!!

Thanks again for advice and listening to my moans!!

Louise

    HI Louise

I also have hypothyroidism and for 15 years I struggled to get my thyroid levels under control, although I was just in range often I had all the severe symptoms of an underactive thyroid. THey only treated it when it finally went out of range.
I did a lot of research and with the help of a great doctor we checked my T3 levels and found they were out. T4 converts to T3 but my body doesnt do it. I now have replacement thyroxine and also Liothyrinine (T3) replacement and touch wood my thyroid has been stable for the last 5 years.
Maybe its worth asking your GP to check your T3 levels (some of them are very anti T3 for whatever reason (i think its the cost of it) so it depends on how your GP looks at it.

    Good luck anyway

    Theresa ((())) :)
