Hi,
Am going in hospital on Monday 29th - they offered me this coming Saturday at a private hospital in Manchester somewhere but I said it was too soon, so the 29th is the next available date and is at my usual hospital. I've got a consent (??!) appointment tomorrow night and a pre-op assessment appointment next Tuesday, so 3 weeks to get house cleaned and freezer stocked!!!! Oh, and I got the job!!!:lol::lol: Josie x

    Hi Josie :)
Good news all round! :D When do you start the new job then? They obviously wish to get the signing on the dotted line, well out of the way, if you have a separate appointment for that!

Don't rush around too much you do have three weeks!

    Luv
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    Well done Josie :D

So very pleased about the job :)

Also good news about the op - and the date is about right - time to get 'your house in order' as they say :)

    Love

    Toni xx

Have been tonight to sign on the dotted line - the consultant seems very blase - suppose you would be if you do these things every day! Seems a bit of a trek for a 2 minute appointment but I suppose they have their reasons for organising things that way. Go for pre-op apntmt next Tuesday. Job is a promotion within the same school so it starts in September - quite a lot to sort first though so timing is quite good, should be back a week or so after the Easter hols and should have an uninterrupted run until Summer then. Thanks for all your good wishes X
