    Hi elna
Yes I did phone but she said it would take a few weeks for the results to filter through. she said it shouldnt be long but then what is long? lol Just want it sorted and done now. I have a good team of drs so I'm sure it wont be too long - just have to be patient I guess.
    thanks for your reply

    HI,
All this waiting about does get on your nerves doesn't it? I do hope they can tell you something soon. Just to wish you a short wait before you get sorted out.

    Hi,

I was told to make an appointment with the consultant for 2 week after my MRI. At that appointment I was told I needed surgery and would go on the waiting list, I believe the timescales are you must be treated within 4 months. After that op I was told while in hospital that I needed open hip surgery and I was back on the waiting list.

But, you know what like the waiting lists are. It can all be smoke and mirrors to meet targets.

I do hope you get seen soon.

Thanks for that. I was told by my consultant to make an appointment as soon as I knew the date for the MRI as I had my back MRI booked in alredy and he was going to get his secretary to get them to do my knee at the same time (which was difficult to get organised but they did manage to do it).
So far the hospitals and drs I have had have been fab and the secretary always happy to help.
I am just on pins waiting now because I just want it sorted although the operation doesn't sound very nice. (having knee re-aligned and the grove where patella sits dug out deeper and put back)
    thanks for your replies
