Hello,
Just another update on my hospital visiting!!!

I went to the Pain Clinic this morning, walked in the door and announced myself to the receptionist, only to be told that they had changed my appointment and I should have been there yesterday! I said not according to the letter I had, which luckily was in my bag. They looked at it and said that they had changed all the clinics and had given me an appointment, which they sent out on 24 December, Christmas Eve, with a new appointment on it! They offered me an appointment tomorrow, but I'm going to the Job Centre Advisor then and already had to change appointments with them, once.

Anyway, one of the girls went out and spoke to the Nurse Practionor and she saw me. Nothing to say, really. She just wanted to know how I'd been getting on and who I'd seen. All the things she could offer at the moment are being covered by the rheummy! Still, at least I don't have to go back until May, for the Pain Seminar. The only thing is that all this travelling about is making me sooo tired. I went to sleep for the whole afternoon and could go back to sleep now! Its a thirty mile round drive, so it costs a bit as well!

Lots of love Sue

    Sue,

At least someone saw you today and you didn't need to make another trip. All these appointments can be tiring, try to take it easy when you can.

Hi thanks for your replies - I do take it easy as I seem to have lost all my energy. The ironing is building up and the hovering needs doing!

Still, after this week, (hopefully) I get a bit of a break from appointments for a while! :D

Seriouslly, I'm lucky to get all this treatment and stuff, I know lots of people have big problems getting things done and so I am greteful, but just a bit tired!

Tomorrow I go to see the employment adviser, to talk about what I could do to get me back to work!
    Love Sue

I randomly got a text message from the nhs reminding me about an appointment, unfortunately I was waiting for four different appointments in various departments and the text didn't say what it was for just the time and date. I then had to ring round and try and figure out what it was for!!
    Technology is wonderful!
