Well I have been back at work for a month now. Mentally I am enjoying the challenge but physically I am knackered! Both my hips hurt and my right knee, sometimes I don't know what leg to limp with!

last week I was so busy worked an extra 15 hours, I am already working 40. Problem is I don't get paid, I was starting at 6am to support workers in Mumbai and supposed to finish at 2 but didn't leave until 5. Brought work home and done that in between sleeping.

Still waiting for more tests as my GP was saying my last lot of bloods could indicate lupus and I go back to see the consultant next month. I was going to try & reduce my painkillers still on morphine with the aim to get back on to Tramasol but Gp said to leave for the moment.

Anyway just an update as i'm not posting much these days.

Anne

    Hi Anne

I was wondering how yoyu are doing :)

sounds as though you are doing really well to be surviving all those hours. Are you enjoyiong the job?

However - I hope you will be abel to cut back when things settle down.

    Sounds interesting though...mumbai?

    Hello,

It must be hard to get back into a routine when you have been away from work for a while and you are doing really well. You'r doc was right, I think, to tell you to keep your medication as it is for the time being. You've got enough to get on with, settling in at work again. Once you've got things more settled, then is the time to start thinking about changing you meds. Your body has to get really used to a new routine!

Take care, don't do too much! Lots of love Sue

I was worried that this might happen Anne, with you being self-employed. It`s just impossible to stick to "normal" hours isn`t it?

For as long as you are enjoying it, I think you`ll be fine. Just make sure, working those hours, that someone else does all the other home stuff, so that you can have the "soft" time that you need.

Thinking of you, and sending much love.........Ange.

    Hi Anne,
you're working a whole lot of hours at work and then at home....no wonder you're knackered

it's good you are mentally challenged by all you are doing and it must be interesting.... but as others have said you need to try to strike the right balance....arther is very unforgiving and you need some energy just to keep him at bay.

I hope your appointment goes well and that the blood results improve. be careful about reducing the meds...best wait until the doc advises you.
nice to see you posting :D take care, and slow down a bit if you can. Iris x

I've been thinking of you , and I'm glad that you are enjoying what you do.

please do think of yourself when you can and find time to rest.
I know that you know you need to ....... and I also know how hard it is when you are being called from all sides.

anyhow, it's good to hear from you and we're here for you when you need us.

    Thanks everybody.

I ended up in bed at 8 last night wasn't feeling well and had been up since 5am to get into work early.

Ange, you are so right. My OH is brilliant and the house is running without me, which upsets me a bit and my dinner is waiting for when I get home.

I just hope the next lot of tests get me a step closer to a diagnosis. I have got an appointment on Monday so I will keep you posted.

Anne, it doesn`t matter who does what, so don`t feel guilty. That`s just conditioning. As long as it works for the two of you, **** everyone else. Just keep communicating, and you`ll be fine.

Good luck with the tests, and hopefully, some answers. I`ll be thinking of you.......Much love......Ange.
