    Hi there Del,

Just popped in to see how everyone's doing and saw your post.

How about "Guardians of the written word".

You could always call yourselves, Associates or Affiliates of the Library.

Or, to be really eyecatching, how about Hobnobs of the Library. This means to 'rub elbows with' or 'to be associated with'. The press would love it for any publicity purposes.

Then there are always a Benefactor, a Patron, a Guardian, a Steward, or a Warden just to name a few.

    Well done Del :D

I'm sure the library will be so much safer with you on board.

Let us know if you settle on a new name, there are some good ones here.

I did toy with Amicus Libris but thought it would be a bit OTT for the patrons.

Trustees is another that I thought would put the message over.

Calling yourself Trustees would probably put you under the obligations of The Trustee Act 2000, not really a route that you may want to follow.
