Hello strangers!

Hope you have all been keeping well ♥

I have had a lot happening. My job has changed, you may remember i was facing redundancy over New Year. Well i got promotion out of that. I have also been running my own business for the past 3 months, built my own website and it is just about starting to show proffit.

My Dad has beaten prostate cancer and started back at work 2 weeks ago.

A will be running in the Race for life on 16th May raising money for cancer reaserch uk.

    Hi there Carol, welcome back.......2010 is obviously a good year for you so far!

    So glad you are so positive after the grotty time you had last year. As Barbara says, don't disappear again........you've been missed.

    Oh it's so nice to hear you all say that.

    Building the website has taken most of my time but all is done now. I will just need to add pages as the business grows...........hopefully.

    I would put my web address on here but since it's selling, i'm not sure that i'm allowed :?:

    I'm just off to work now but promise i won't disappear again!

    Ah my website isn't that exciting Joy, it's the 1st one i've ever done but it's serving it's purpose.

    After the year i had last year i need a better year, so far things are certainly looking up. My sister-in-law is still fighting cancer but since she was given 3 months to live and that was nearly 3yrs ago, i can even find a positive in that.

    Arthur has kept at bay, i have the odd twinge now and then but have hardly taken any meds for about 5 months now.

    I remember you were doing your jumpers for sale.I did wonder where on earth you had gone!Crafty Knits or something.

    Good luck on 16th May. That is some achievement.Dont push yourself or make yourself worse.

    Are you still loosing weight??

    So gald to see the big C didnt win with your Dad - so very pleased about that. I did the race for life last year in memory of my friend's hubby who died at 44.

    Well more of a walk for life but who cares. It si a truly wonderful experience :D

    Oh boy i've missed you guys :!:

    My race for life will also be a walk for life :lol: i'll crawl on me hands and knees if i have too :lol::lol: It's not about how fast you go, it's all about finishing the course. I will be doing it with my Aunty, her husband (my Dad's brother) also has beaten cancer, he had bowl cancer about 10yrs ago. To be honest, i've always thought about doing it but never actually done it. With my Dad having had cancer it has really pushed me. My Dad is my hero and when he was diagnosed it was the worst time of my life.

    As for loosing weight............well it's up and down as usual to be honest but i now have this 'race' to do in 8 weeks time so that#s pushing me to try and be healthy.
