Revealed: The student howlers that show our dumbed down exams are still too much for some pupils.

Q. What is a nitrate?
A. Much cheaper than a day rate.

Q. What did Mahatma Gandhi and Genghis Khan have in common?
A. Unusual names.

Q.Name 6 animals which live specifically in the Arctic.
A. Two polar bears and four seals.

Q. How does Romeo's character develop throughout the play?
A. It doesn't, it's just self ,self, self all the way through.

Q. Where was the American Declaration of Independence signed?
A. At the bottom.

Q. What happens during puberty to a boy?
A. He says goodbye to his childhood and enters adultery.

Q. What is the fibula?
A. A little lie.

Q. Where was Hadrian's Wall built?
A. Around Hadrian's garden.

Q. Explain the phrase ''free press''.
A. When your Mum irons trousers for you.

Q. What is a stand-alone computer system?
A. It doesn't come with a chair.

    These are all genuine examples of answers from exam papers. You can just imagine the poor student trying to think of something/anything to write :!: :D

    Probably got one point for each question - for at least writing something down!! Oh dear, I must be having a cynical day!!

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Probably got one mark for writing their name on the paper; two marks for spelling it right :!: :roll:
