How long will steriods last for when the dose is finished?

I am currently on Steriods which are working and I tell you what I feel wonderful without pain.

I am worried that the decreasing dose will run out and will that mean that I end up in pain again really quickly????

    Hi Claire
    The idea of the steroids is that they reduce the inflammation which is causing the pain so if they do their job properly you shouldn't be in so much pain when you stop taking them.
    No guarantees but hopefully this will happen.

    Hi Claire,I was on steroids last year(just for a month) and when I came off them I was almost pain free for about five months. :) I think it does differ from person to person but good luck anyway. Breane.x
