Hi Guys
have any of you tried rituximab if so how was it and did you use Methotrexate as your second drug

    Hi Colin.

    I'm on rituximab.

    I haven't found it to be a wonder drug for me but it's ok. I've been on it for about 18 months. The other drug I have is leflunamide as I found methotrexate made me really sick.

    The only side effect is that it makes me very tired particually on the week that I've had the infusion.

    Are you going to try it?

    Hi Sally first let me say sorry ive lost the plot, i did place this topic back in Jan so sorry for that.

    Yes I'm going to try it as there is not much left for me to try now having done the three anti TNFs. The methotrexate makes me feel ill to but they tell me if the retuximab works i could half the dose.

    Hi I have been on rituximab for a year i also am on mtx and was on leflunomide but that was stopped 2 weeks ago due to high blood pressure. Good luck and I hope it works for you.
