Hi
Do you ever read back to some of the old pages and threads on this forum :?: I have just been browsing through some of them, and it is like a trip down memory lane. I have been smiling at some of the posts from people I didn't know at the time of writing, but now regard as my friends. I have also felt rather sad to read posts from some people who seem to have disappeared from the forum. I wish they would come back to let us know how they are.

Hi Joan & Trish & Toni
Funnily enough I was thinking the same thing...why do some peeps stay and some go? :?
I just can't see me dropping off the forum until I drop off me perch but I suppose it depends on where you are in your life or arther :?:
I just know I find it so supportive and funny at times...it gives me a feeling of acceptance and 'belonging' that I don't have elsewhere.
interesting though to muse on why peeps do/ don't stay...

No I don't so sometime I repeats meself, right now I am haivng writers block can't think of any flipping thing to post about, well nothing that wouldn't get me arrested mostly to do with the aplication of extreme violence on my fecking line manager and the evil queen running the HR department!.

I often search for particular threads because sometimes I get to come on every day and sometimes days go by when I don't see you all. I think it's been about a year since I started coming on here and I don't think you'll ever get rid of me now :-)

I would like to think that we will all stay on here. I'm nearly coming up to my first year. 1st May
I have made some really good friends on here. Ones that I can talk about anything from arthur to others things.
It is a life line for me as I have to spend all winter in doors so I come on here daily. It helps to cheer me up as well.
Also I like to think that I'm there for others in the only way I can be to listen to or read about.
I really enjoyed Christmas on here, we had a good night, also New Years Eve

Hi Trisher
It is when people stay on the forum and post frequently that we get to know each other as friends.
You are a very good friend to me, Trisher, and I know that you are to many others too.
I feel that my life is richer for knowing so many lovely people on here.0 -

Thank you Joan, but there are many many good people on here it is nice that we can all get on. Giving a helping hand when someone stumbles. Encouragement when they feel they cannot carry on.

And you certainly do that Trisher, especially with what you are having to face all the time. All these operations. You always know the right things to say when others are feeling bad and then, you are not feeling so great yourself.
Are you still hoping to get down to the London Marathon. My friend Alan Bird from Lincolnshire is busy training. I shall try and find out his number.
I keep wishing I could do the 5 km for Run for Life. I've done that twice in the past and each year I get excited when I see the ads. Think I will give it a go. I then go to catch the bus into town and after the first few steps, wonder if I will ever getback home again.
