I have RA affecting my knees and ankles, and recently am finding it really hard to get around. I have a hospital appointment for xrays on Monday, will I be able to get crutches or something while I'm there, or will I have to wait and see my GP? I'm getting pretty miserable stuck indoors :(

    Hey,

I recently got crutches, just popped into the physio dept in the hospital while attending a different department.
You should get them no probs - altho I had to give my address & stuff & sign something, as if I was going to run away with them - wishful thinking

    good luck :D

Oh good! I'm practically housebound atm, not too much pain on walking but a LOT once I'm home so hoping using crutches will help get me more active.

    Hi Hydeist

    Good to meet you :)

All being well you should be able to arrange as easily as that, but if not at least you will get the balls rolling so to speak.

It is in their interest for you to keep on your feet and mobile.

    Love

    Toni xx
