    Dear Joan :)

I just want to wish you all the very best with the appointment on Monday. Let's hope he comes up with some good ideas of where to go from here with xrays, scans, treatment for you. Will Sue accompany you or somebody else as two heads are better than one at remembering what was said and thinking of questions to ask, as a result of what is discussed.

Do let us know how it goes,

    Love
    Elna x(())

    Good luck for tomorrow.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Joan,

If there's one thing you do NOT do....it's 'go on' about your pain...so please don't think that way.
chronic pain is so difficult to live with and each of us here on the forum knows what that's like. it helps to share with peeps who understand and truly care...as we do about you. :!:

your meds seem a bit low key for the pain you're suffering so I hope they review them tomorrow and give you something more effective.

I'm sorry I won't be around when you get back from your appointment but will check your post when I'm back on Wednesday.
    Big (((HUGS))). Iris x

Sorry, Joan, I've only just seen this (been hidiing for a week or so).

Hope everything at the consultation goes well and you get some positive help/treatment/support. Yes, pain does get you down - I'm like a bear with a sore head and my husband 'runs away', when in fact I could do with a cuddle! I'm sending you one now (((( )))). Keep your chin up.
