time is more precious than oil or any valuable treasures. it is time that we do not have enough of; it is time that causes the war within our hearts, and so we must spend it wisely. time can not be packaged and ribboned and left under trees for christmas morning.

time can not be given but it can be shared.

the writer is cecelia ahern she got this so right

    Hi Val :D

Was this book called The Gift?

She did have it spot on and nice to be reminded of it.

One quote in a similar vein that has always stuck in my head is:

"The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won't wait while you do the work" Patricia Clafford.

I'm sure that time seems to fly by more quickly as you get older. I used to laugh when I heard my mother say that, but now I think she was right.

    Hi again Val

Yes am sure it is ok to put book titles on here as long as you give credit to the author, especially if you are recommending them. :D:D
    Glad you like your books.

Thats why I called back in again on my post to make sure I had put a source for the rainbow quote once I had googled it to find out.

So true, as I've got older, I've realised that my kids aren't going to remember that their washing was always done and the house was pristine. What they're going to remember is afternoons bouncing and then sleeping the trampoline in the sunshine, laughing till we cried and me squealing while they patiently tried to teach me how to ride a bike :-)
